DS01-04: Grandmother (Bundle)

Distressed Signals 01-04 | Grandmother offers multi-sample instruments of the oscillator waveforms from a Moog Grandmother recorded via various saturation devices. Individual samples are also included to load onto your favorite sampler. Experience the Grandmother’s triangle, sawtooth, square, and narrow pulse waveforms slightly, each saturated for added character but without compromising their distinctive quality.

Unlike many other sample packs, this one provides 10-second recordings at full-amplitude and full-frequency of notes C and G from C1 to C5, allowing you to sculpt the sounds in your sampler as if you were operating a synthesizer. Load these recordings onto any sampler and shape them with your own filters, envelopes, LFOs, and other parameters.

What’s Inside

Samples:

• 216 samples in WAV format
• 24-bit / 48kHz | mono | normalized
• Filenames organized by saturation type, waveform, and note (ex. DS01_API_TRI_1_C3.wav)

• x24 Ableton Live Sampler racks with 16 pre-mapped macro controls for each waveform-saturation pairing.
• x6 Ableton Live Sampler "selector" racks: load a rack for a saturation type and select between each waveform. (Bundle Exclusive)

• x04 Roland SP-404 project with banks for each saturation-waveform pairing.
• x04 Akai MPC drum program with banks for each saturation-waveform pairing.

• GER: Grandmother via the Germanium circuit of a Valco KGB Dist. 
• OPA: Grandmother via the Op-Amp circuit of a Valco KGB Dist.
• 201: Grandmother via UAFX Galaxy (input drive / 100% wet mix).
• TD1: Grandmother via UAFX Dream (Oxford 12K5-6 cab).
• TD2: Grandmother via UAFX Dream (Super Reverb cab).

Samples should work on any device that accepts WAV files at 24-bit/48kHz.
